Where is Mazur’s Bakery located?

Can I taste a variety of cakes before I place my order?
We offer complimentary wedding cake tastings at your appointment with our specialists.
Can I come in for a cake tasting without an appointment?
No. An appointment must be made prior to your tasting so we can prepare all of your cakes, fillings, and toppings, as well as have a wedding cake specialist available for you.
What should I bring to my cake tasting?
Any ideas, colors, themes, photos, your invitation, color swatches, a photo of your dress, and the amount of expected guests. Basically anything that you would like to incorporate onto the design of your cake. We also need to know the date, location, and time of delivery/pick-up. Tell us if you have a budget. We are here to help you, and make your special day a wonderful memory!
Can you decorate in any color?
Yes. If you provide a swatch we can match your color as close as possible.
Can I mix and match pictures/designs to create my own cake?
Absolutely. We realize that your wedding day or special occasion is a very significant event. It is our job to create and customize a cake just for you. The staff at Mazur’s Bakery will do everything to make it perfect.
What is the price range of wedding and/or specialty cakes?
All tier cakes are sold by the slice. The amount of detail and decoration required to prepare a cake will determine the price. Something very simple will cost $4.00/slice, where more extravagant cakes can cost up to $15.00/slice. Feel free to come to our store or send us images of cakes you are interested in so we can give you a price quote on designs and decorations that you like (
suzanne@mazursbakery.com). Keep in mind, the more detailed cakes will have higher costs.
Is a deposit needed when placing a wedding cake or specialty cake order?
Yes. Any order over $50.00 requires a 50% deposit before it can be processed. Cash, Debit Cards, and Credit Cards are accepted.
When does the cake have to be paid for in full?
Payments for wedding cakes must be paid in full by the Monday before the wedding date.
Can you do any type of cake decoration?
We have many cake designs to choose from. We can do any type of cake decoration if you provide a clear image that we can work from. We want to customize a cake exactly the way you want it.
What are the shapes of tier cakes you offer?
We offer round, square, oval, heart, and hexagon (6-sided).
Besides a bride and groom ornament, what are other decorations that can be used on the cake?
We can add bridesmaids and groomsmen to the cake of any color. We can do a cluster of fresh flowers or fruit placed anywhere on the cake or use your imagination.
Do you offer fresh flowers?
We do not offer fresh flowers, however we work very closely with Lyndhurst Florist. Your personal florist must deliver your fresh flowers to the bakery the night before the event.
How far can a cake be delivered?
We will deliver anywhere within reason. Please consult the wedding cake specialist because there may be delivery charges.
How are the cakes transported?
Cakes are transported mostly by a refrigerated van/truck depending on the location of delivery. If necessary, the cakes are assembled at the venue.
Do you ship any of your bakery products?
Yes. We only ship non-perishable items such as butter cookies, butter pastries, and pies. We cannot ship wedding cakes, yet!
Can I change or cancel my order once it I placed?
Yes. Changes and cancelations must be made at least 48 hours prior to your date of pickup.
How far in advance should I place an order, cake or other baked goods?
Some products need more time than others. A simple birthday cake can be ordered at least two days in advance. However, a tier cake needs at least one week notice, possibly more depending on the design. Also, specialty bakery items may need more time because they may be seasonal. Call in advance and let us know what you need.
Can I place an order through email?
Yes, however it is best to speak to us over the phone or at the bakery because email is not the easiest or most efficient way of communicating quickly. If you do send us an email, the order must be confirmed with an email response from our bakery. The quickest way to place an order or ask questions is to call or come in to the bakery.
